Yeah, that's what I mean.

I'm ALSO skinning some stuff. I started when I downloaded the minipuzzles (PuzzleOne and Cubeology) since everyone was commenting on the black cube in PuzzleOne.

I'm thinking about a quick skin for each little symbol, like the different achievements and portal symbols. Or maybe just a cake cube.

Except for the distinct possibility of shattered/emancipated teeth, I would be very happy with a cake cube.

Oh, and I'll work on adding hazards to the extended bits.

Okey dokey, how's this? I know it's not exactly done precisely, but I don't think it's that bad for a second try.

What you are holding, a Microsoft Corporation Windows Handheld Portal Device?

I was wondering how long it would be before somebody took note of that. Yes, it's a custom skin for the ASHPD; I also replaced the AL logo on the back of Chell's suit with the Windows logo. The way I figure it, if Apple had helped make the ASHPD, you'd get a "Format Incompatible" message if you tried to use it, if you did manage to use it both portals would be white, you'd have to pay $100 every time you entered a portal, and if you tried to modify the device in any way your warranty would be voided.
Just my little tribute to good ol' Microsoft.

Will it ever be released?

I've just started working on a pack of skins for many different objects (got a fair amount of good ideas)...

There's a good chance I'll stick it in there as well.

Too bad half the time the portals don't shoot, and every once in while you get a BPoD.

Yeah, it's tough to get the stripes to match up. I'm working on separating out the different parts of the cube, and making it easier to match things across the parts.

With Google Inc. "I'm Feeling Lucky" Handheld Portal Device, it's even worse - instead of two portals, you can only shoot one (you have to think of place you wanna go to to second portal to appear), and so many people use the system that most of the time when second portal appears first portal fizzles.

I hope that's a Windows XP or Windows 7 Handheld Portal Device? If you use a Microsoft Windows Vista Handheld Portal Device, whenever you shoot a portal, it'll ask you three times if you're sure about it, and then crash.

Touch?. I used XP for a while, and it wasn't all that bad...there were a few problems when I put in Portal, however. I was playing along fine; however, at the exact moment I got the blue-only ASHPD, the game crashed, so did Windows (more or less), and I found out that, if I remember correctly, one side of the desktop's graphics card just been cooked (well-done, I think). I turned down the graphics next time I played, and I didn't have any more trouble. Nine months ago, I got a new laptop running Vista; I'm able to run Portal pretty smoothly at 1280x800 res, with every graphics setting at it's highest, but no antialiasing. I'm quite happy with it. Vista doesn't actually crash that much at all; in fact, no more than XP. I have thought about loading in Windows 7; future project perhaps.

Does windows still offer the free upgrade to win7 from vista?

I've XP for a while, skipped over vista (Way too many horror stories from people I trust about computers) and I've heard decent things about win7.

If anyone has it or is going to get it, let me know.
