Fair enough. I mean, if you want to discard my experience over the span of two years moderating the second most popular wiki on the internet, that's cool

because that makes perfect sense ofc.

And to be fair to everyone, anyone I know is a good mapper will be given "bureaucrat" (moderator I guess?) privileges. Admins will be the same across the site.

no idea what that means, but thanks maybe?
in all fairness, I am mostly joking. I will be helping the wiki 100% though.

Apparently you have to add something to the address bar in order to make a new page, instead of the usual "go to URL that doesn't exist, then edit."
It's the difference between this:

And this:

It is quite weird. Meanwhile, I made a security camera tutorial.
Uploading files seems to be...
Why have the image of the P1 camera and not the P2?

Edited.
On a serious side though, we could put both. It doesn't really matter to me. The Portal 1 camera picture was the first image in Google Images when I searched.

Gotcha. xD
On a related note, I asked an admin from thePortalWiki for permission to use any images we need, and his response was:

That's fine as long as you respect the license on each image, and the license of the content ([https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ CC-BY-3.0], which basically just means you should mention where the stuff is from). But you do know there's [https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Category:Portal_2_Level_Design quite a large section for that at the VDC], right?)
And he made the suggestion of:

May I suggest the option of creating a mapping section on this wiki then? Would solve the hassle of copying stuff around (but I'm probably making this suggestion too late)
Meaning, if we want to make use of their images, we have the greenlight. We also have the green-light to carve out a section for ourselves on thePortalWiki, designed SPECIFICALLY for mappin'. We'd have all the templates, images, proper licenses, and an unofficial partnership with an unofficial wiki.
That's all for now.
seriously, why? why can't we get our own images? it would be easy, especially with the model viewer.

Really nice wiki pages grox, vanSulli and P2P. I think we can handle the wiki ourselves.
To play the devil's advocate, I really just added a bunch of redirects, and filled in the obvious information that somebody skipped by mistake.

Well it's never said, but I don't see anything else that would make plants grow. (most artificial light for that is red, because it's more efficient)
EDIT:

Anyone feel free to add the other tutorials. (I was only gonna make broken)
