I was considering doing that, but thought it could cause trouble with short-cuts in tracks.
PRE-POST EDIT: NVM, think I've fixed that too. That'll cut out a few problems with blue shell navigation and race positioning within laps.

So...I said in the chat this weekend that I'd nearly got karts working. Forget that. I hadn't, or rather I had, but they didn't behave as a MK kart should. Redoing that. I have however got the item boxes in as finished a state as I can without learning a shader language to get the coloured swirly pattern. It'll just have to be flat colour in a loop for now.
