I don't know about everyone else, but it seems to me like the DLC is going to be released on the 20th of this month. This is mainly because I heard that somewhere, (but I can't find the post .) Also Portal will stop being free on the 20th, and in Valve time the 20th is the middle of September, the hint they gave us to its release. Anyone have a clue?

Your theory is sound. It makes sense they'd release it then.

My campaign is also almost finished and you might even benifit from a dlc and release yours in it's wake because people are playing portal 2 again. I'd definitely want to see the engin changes to discover if ican't just release it as a vpk that can INCLUDE the media folder for example.

BTW they didn't announce any date for the dlc yet , don't they usually make an announcement on the news page when they have an exact date ?

Well, they announce the update when Steam does update it, but I'm not sure about before. Recent News also hasn't been updated for a while, not just for Portal 2, but also Left 4 Dead 2.

I hope it has some new testing elements that people will use in future mapping. Also if its not out by sept 22nd then they have broken their deadline as autumn will begin.
