This is my first Portal 2 map.

It involves:
-Lasers
-Conversion Gel
-Propulsion Gel
-Discouragement field
-Hard Light Bridge
-Fizzlers
-and some flinging

Style: Clean

Difficulty: It's around medium difficulty

Size: Medium

I realized during making this map that I started mapping exactly one year ago so let's say that this is something like my anniversary map.

Feedback, reports of bugs, reports of unintended solutions and video playthroughs are appreciated.

Special thanks:

-Fluppy (Comp Cube)
-warnightify

Have fun!!

Dom44

Version 1.1:
-partially fixed unintended solution in gel chamber
Version 1.2:
-added more time at the timer button in the first room
(Although I said I won't add more time to the timer eventually I decided to add more time to the timer , because initially I thought it is okay even that almost everybody wrote here that the timing is tight and so, but then I realized that it's not okay and that the timing was really tight. Well hopefully now it'll be okay.)

Excellent.Difficulty was medium except for the one timer button.Thats a short timer. An extra second would be good but its still doable

Hey Dom, good to see you are back! I thought you won't ever make a Portal 2 map.

Design of your map is pretty good, you could add some glass lights. Puzzle was really easy for me, except for one moment where I haven't noticed one white wall.

Here's my blind playthrough video:

I hope this was not your last map!

Very nice map - that short timer was a little irritating in the main chamber, just had to think with portals. Flowed well - all elements worked fine - not too difficult but still thoughtful. Thanks for making!

Nice map!
I didn't need the orange gel; I used the white gel to get two white surfaces to create in infinite fall and therefor speed

I also thought the 64 pixels between the fizzlers wat a bit too tight, for someone clumpsy like me that means you have to try that quite a few times which is rather annoying. Still a very good map!
4/5;Great

Thank you all guys for positive ratings and reports! Also thank you Fluppy for playthrough!
I fixed the unintended solution in gel chamber, I didn't realize that it's possible to do that in that way in which some of you did that . Also, it was my goal to make that timer in the first room a bit hard, but it's not that hard if you make it like this-you will place cube behind third fizzler, then you fling up to the wall tile in front of the button (up), you'll activate the laser catcher, after that you'll press the button, go down, quickly grab the cube and take it behind the first fizzler, and then fling up to the wall tile again, press the button, go down, and again quickly grab the cube and take it into the first room and you're done, I think that it isn't that hard you just have to be quick.

Also spaces between fizzlers 64 units long are done purposely to make it harder.

Thanks again !

Nice map. Even retrieving the cube from 1 the way intended, it is still very tight timing to get over there - IMO not the best way to add difficulty to a map puzzle.
Thanks for creating - I look forward to more.

quatrus: Thanks, umm well I was thinking if I don't make that timer longer but I decided to keep it like this for it to be more challenging
UPDATE: Although I said I won't add more time to the timer eventually I decided to add more time to the timer , because initially I thought it is okay even that almost everybody wrote here that the timing is tight and so, but then I realized that it's not okay and that the timing was really tight. Thank you!! , Also thanks for the playthrough. You solved it in intended way but with that timer you could do that easier- you could place the cube behind the first fizzler and then again press the button and grab it and take it into the first room out of fizzler area , you didn't have to take it through? the first and second fizzler at the same time, but never mind - I wrote this on youtube but I'm writing it here too, just for to be sure

Fun map ^^ Kinda easy after I figured out the ceiling fizzler, but I love how you've made a white paint room that wasn't horribly exploitable

A tad bit too easy for my taste, but it was still fun. Actually great for a first map!
4/5. Thank you for mapping!

Well made map. 4/5 from me. I echo most others' comment, the puzzles were easy, except the timing was a little tight. I almost docked you one point for tight timing, which I do when a puzzle is made more difficult only by making you rush. Yours qualifies, but it really wasn't too tight. If I had played it before you lengthened the timer, I would have.

I got through the fizzlers a little different than your description (and I haven't watched any playthroughs).
Leave cube in funnel room. Get to button, drop fizzler two, press button and run between two and three. Turn and fire portal in floor of first room, raising two and dropping three. Go get cube and portal into first room. This way, the tight space between the fizzlers wasn't an issue for me clumsily fizzling the cube.

Thanks, you got through the fizzlers in interesting way, I never thought about this way. Good job.

It played straightforward for me except for one thing.

||In the main room the laser up top that turns off the 2nd fizzler--it is labeled as "two dots." The fizzler going into the room with the light ramp is also labeled "two dots," yet it has no effect on it.

I also didn't end up using the orange goo. I just white gooped the ceiling to get the requisite height for the jump.||

Good job.

I know about that unintended solution, and I won't fix it because I don't mind this unintended solution, also even if I would like to fix it I would have to rebuild that room completely, and I don't want to bother with this.
