The solution requires logical planning rather than quick reflexes. Less than 5% of testers are able to solve this challenging puzzle.

P.S. Special thanks to the playtesters who helped me perfect this puzzle.

There is a separate thread for showcasing workshop maps.

I am aware of that.

Should this community establish a double-standard and automatically deem all workshop maps less worthy than levels made from Hammer?

I admit that I was among the ones who disdained the new editor when I first heard of it. But after trying it out, while keeping an open mind, I realized the full potential of this powerful tool.

True, it is not as versatile as Hammer, and it has many limitations, but it surpasses Hammer in many other aspects. It really removes all the technical details when it comes to bringing an idea to live. What used to take me days now takes me hours to implement. I can test out a new idea within minutes without worrying about the time investment into a dead end concept.

Have an open mind, and actually play the puzzle. Let me know if it is truly inferior after you solved it.

Yes. People aren't going to give you the same feedback on a workshop map. Some will play it though if you post it in the right place.

Example feedback on a workshop map:
Why did you make the whole thing out of 128x128x128 brushes? Some of your indicator strips are a bit odd. Don't you think the clean theme is a bit over used?

Perhaps we should remove the current community spotlight maps, since they are clearly inferior and not worthy of being promoted.

I must have solved this puzzle more than twenty times, and I did not experience any technical challenges. The solution does not require lightening fast reflexes or dexterity. Each step of the puzzle does become progressively more difficult, and the last step takes a great deal of thinking and planning. But I can assure you that it is not impossible.

I fixed a possible exploit for the final step of the puzzle (updated on May 14).

The Interception Puzzle Contest:

Prize: a $20 Amazon gift certificate will go to the first person who posts a YouTube video link in the comment that demonstrates a successful walk-through of this puzzle. I will send you the prize via email, not Cave Johnson.

Rules:
1. The walk-through video must include the puzzle in its entirely--from the arrival elevator to the departure elevator.
2. The video must be recorded from a single, continuous test session (not spliced).
3. The video must have the original sound from the Portal 2 game. No voice-over or overlay music.
4. The walk-through must be recorded from the most recent version of the puzzle, released on May 14, 2012.
5. Of course, no cheat code can be used in solving the puzzle.

Good luck, testers!

I wish I could proudly shout: "Challenge accepted!" But I've been trying to solve this for days now.
If I should eventually manage to solve it, would a video without any sound be okay, too? I'm using an old free version of Fraps that doesn't allow sound recording.

Here you are!

Unlisted for the moment, I'll make the video public as soon as I've edited and uploaded the blind-with-commentary version later today.

Ah-HAH! Just re-solved with the latest update, now I understand why I had so much trouble with landing the button on the cube at the end. I'll let someone else get the glory of having the second prize, good luck everyone!

EDIT: Also, I can't send PMs here with my post count, but I've sent you a PM on Youtube since you PMed me a couple of days ago about this map.

I played through it again and saw some changes. Didn't that extra grating make it easier? Some uninteded solutions here I think, but it's very similar to Mindez video. Different solutions for the "light bridge button" and for the last puzzle.

Clever! Logic.

However, it's still not my intended solution. I will need to make more changes to deter all of you smart people!

Hmm, so it's the last part that is supposed to be solved differently?

I can't find another way for it xD

Here is the video for the final part by the way I did it (all before is logic's way). Anyway not that hard as I expected.
