My first try at making an actual Portal 2 chamber. So far, I've only got one chamber done, although I already have some ideas for two new chambers and the storyline's continuation.

If you encounter any problems with the chamber or simply want to talk, feel free to add me: steamcommunity.com/id/MonGrab

Here's my solution:

Don't think that's quite what you were going for, but then that's why I don't make maps with conversion gel....

Actually, that's pretty much the solution I had in mind. The only things that differed from my own solution were the placement of the conversion gel behind the first Aerial Faith Plate the Edgless Safety Cube falls on (I used the angled panels to place the gel) and the placement of the tractor beam (Again, I used the angled panels to place the gel between the first and second Aerial Faith Plates the cube falls on and placed the tractor beam there), which would've actually been much harder to do in the previous version of the chamber. It's not very far away from the intended solution, but I'm intrigued as to why you thought so. Was it that there's a whole part of that chamber that you didn't go through? (I can explain why you didn't go through it).

Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

Nah, I found the other part but figured that was just an escape route if you got stuck. The main thing was that you had all of those angled panels working on timers and I didn't use a single one...

Oh. Yes, as I said, I used those when solving my chamber, but I actually altered the chamber to make some of the surfaces you placed portals on, well, portable, after reading a few posts in this forum about alternate solutions to chambers.

Edit: Oh, yes: On a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being the l the least obvious and 10 the most obvious, how obvious was the chamber the first time you played it?

Well, solution-wise it was pretty obvious - spent less than 10 minutes total on the first run, but even then a lot of that was me not noticing the paint dropper or the ball button. Once I'd located those it was just a matter of shooting blobs around, so I dunno, 8? I do play an absolute shedload of Portal 2, though....

Hmm, that's good enough, taking into account that this is the first chamber in what will hopefully be a series of chambers. I was aiming for a bit lower though, maybe a high 6/low 7.
