Great. Could you also record a Source Demo file of you playing through the map, and upload that here?

Anyone wanna take bets if it will even play for you, since you don't have the DLC?

i placed the surprise in a location where no one expects anything to happen, thus maximizing the impact on the player

no point in doing so, i started the normal Portal 2 and tried to load the Sixense created .dem file, all you get is this message:

I am another who solved it without the Sixense package. I kinda took it as a challenge to solve it without such advantages.

I think the judges should at least have a go at solving it, whilst recognising that in the situation they are in, the only solutions will be exploits. I'm afraid whilst it's a gold standard for aesthetics, it's unlikely to win because the puzzles are a little weird without sixense and because there are so many damn good maps here.

I wanted to play it as far as I could go without the Sixense to be able to judge it. I ended up solving this map within 4 minutes of my blindrun!

I'll upload the contest blindruns later, but I played this map again to show you which way I found:

it was a really funny situation when i showed my friend the controller he never had seen before in action and i was picking collateral damage as a map. what a surprise! people saying that the controllers are nothing more than a gimmick is only partly true i find because i really like the scalable cube element- breaking glass, shielding yourself, walking on it- gaming experience is much more like holding a real portal gun i really think. so thanks again for bringing back memories.

I wasted an hour and a half on this map.
I did not know what a sixense is so I simply played.

I did not try to skip the first room and spent ages trying to get the laser to light the sensor in the first room . . . to no avail. I still wish there was a video where the person does NOT SKIP the first room by shooting over into the 2nd room. Oh well.

Still not sure what a Sixense actually does, besides being a motion controller, but I really enjoyed the level. I think due to the style used, the HL2 stuff fits in a lot better than I'd expect, and really caught me off guard at the end there >.< Fun level anyway, thanks

That's what I did. I just thought the map was for regular people and people just thought it was a Sixense map ><
