Hello Everyone,

Map Has Had A MAJOR UPDATE: 22/11/2012

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS UPDATE DID NOT FIX THE LAG AND CRASH ISSUES......

I Have had some Help from Lpfreaky90 On this map because i noticed that this map was not very popular,
so we basically redone the whole first puzzle chamber and Lpfreaky90 also optimized my map for me, so hopefully now this map works 100%

perfectly hahahaha

So it has 1 large start area with 3 puzzles + other puzzle elements + 3 other chambers with 1 concept chamber at the end (this last

chamber is a bit of fun and a concept - as always all feedback is appreciated)

Thanks to Goodcat who playtested my map and gave this map its name and gave me ideas and everyone else too.

And also a Thanks to Lpfreaky90 of course

quite a nice map, BUT the first part is very very poorly optimized, causing massive lag for us.

The bts area was a nice touch too.

Also, we think we broke something in the part with the buttons,I threw my cube whilst in mid air, and the cube landed on top, and I fell down again, and the panels for circles weren't closing anymore... I can imagine this part being almost impossible for people who aren't using voicechat.

The part with the laser and crusher is what I hate the most in portal maps, quick timing, a gazillion deaths and barely a puzzle.

the cube funneling was fun, but I did expect a bit more from that bts area, but that could be just me. Also the player who was actually doing the portals had to walk quite a lot back in order to get to the next door again.

The part with the turrets was very interesting a very original idea, but here panel 2 stayed open, and it was quite tough to get the cube in correctly and I think the lasergrid on top should be DE-activated in the final step. randomly dying is never a good idea.

All in all a quite decent map but there's still room for a lot of improvements!

and i will look into those issues you said..

EDIT: could you please say what you meant about the circles panels not closing anymore, do u mean in the room with the blue and orange paint in the large first area???

i did test those over and over and that trigger for those panels is in the air and it is a trigger multiple, so that should always work if u hit it again and plus there is a button that reopens those panels in the control room, so yes i supose you are right, would be hard for people not using voice chat, but i cant think of everything when i make maps, and it isnt my fault if people choose not to use voicechat, i think they are missing out on more fun when they dont use voicechat, but hey, thats my opinion hehe

i will wait to get more feedback from you before i make any changes

We got stuck. The cube didn't land on the button, and we can't fizzle it using the funnel, we can't jump into the room to get it, and we can't suicide. Here's a screenshot:

Just wanted to let you know i did that fix for that puzzle you said kennkong

i added a button that enables you to respawn the cubes if they dont land on the floor buttons

also it had some other minor things added too

Hey dude,

I love Portal and want to collect some gameplays (first blind runs; always aren't the fastest and intended solutions, because I take any time to look at the map and its possibilities), speedruns and bug reports.
My records should help you to understand how the player thinks.
