Thanks, Zivi, that was very helpful. Lighting was definitely difficult and I tried to find a balance between realistic and practical lights in the chamber. I'll experiment with some of those techniques and see what I can do.

Brilliant. I managed to transport the cube across the goo but then I realized I had to transport myself as well. I stared at the screen for 10 minutes before it finally dawned on me. Great job!

This is a glitch with Portal 2. I have never managed to get cubemaps to compile properly.

protoborg: I fixed the buildcubemaps issue by deleting all instances of the .bsp file EXCEPT the one in Portal2_dlc2/maps before loading the map through console ingame. Otherwise, the game will load another instance (for me, it was in Portal2/maps) which will fail to build cubemaps.

Seriously one of the best maps I've ever played. The visuals are ok. Some of the lights seem awkward but the puzzle is amazing. The difficulty is great. It's not as hard as marKiu's or grayarea's puzzles but it took me good 45min to solve.

The puzzle is one of the best ones I've ever seen. It's just amazingly genious. I can't wait to see more maps from you.

Easy 5/5!

Oh god, in my opinion, this is the most challenging single-player map I've played (yet) ! Absolutely excellent and challenging puzzle. Despite the size of the chamber, the chamber was DAUNTING** (similar to Mevious' maps). I took around 30 minutes to solve the chamber. And when I finally managed to reach the exit door, I was ECSTATIC**.
Heres my blindrun: (I cut it to 4 mins because almost 20 mins of the video was me staring at the wall, thinking on how do I solve it :p)

Aah, didn't realise this was on TWP too. Awesome awesome map. I'm still pretty shocked at how much you fit into such a simple layout! thanks

Wait, is this seriously your first map in Hammer? If so, then HOLY S**T. Seriously, my first map really sucked.
