My 3rd map.

Developed by the inmates of a Guatamelan asylum for the criminally insane, it's the MERCILESS Test Chambers of Quetzlsakatenango.

Nice map, not overly hard - thanks for the symbols which helped with where to go next. Thanks for creating...

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it and found your way through it. I was a little worried that all the steps might not be clear. It can be very hard to tell after spending hours and hours tweaking-testing-tweaking-testing LOL

This puzzle is beating me up! I cannot solve the acid room at all!

I get the door shut on the turrets, but then I cannot figure out what combination of jumps I need to do! I have the first part down to a science, and found some ways to break it!

Getting the cube on the Star Button:
Splatter the hallway with white goo, including the observation area.(across from the elevator door) Switch to Speed gel and coat from the elevator doorway to the ledge. Grab a companion cube and run/jump over to the receptacle. In fact, this is how I solved this area my first time.

I've also managed to coat the lower foyer in white gel and the long hallway in orange. Suitably placed portals will allow a speed jump to the star receptacle.

Is the intent to ride a cube on the platform to avoid the death-field? I cannot find any combination of jumps to get the cube to the far-right receptacle above the acid.

Interesting solution the the Star Button LOL. I did put all those gels in there to give the player numerous options for actually solving everything. If I'm thinking right about what you refer to as the 'lower foyer', I'm not sure how you managed to coat the whole thing in white gel.
Any chance you could provide me with a .dem to see what you're doing?
Regarding getting a cube onto that button in the far right corner:
my design calls for a red-coated hallway with a portaled jump from an angled panel in the near right corner, which leads to a faith-plate jump up to that area.
I could also provide a .dem of my intended solution to the entire map. I've been TRYING to get my .dem to an .avi so I can upload a walktrhu to YouTuber, but have encountered grave difficulties in the attempt thus far. I hope to figure that out this next week.
Anyhow, thanks VERY much for your input. Hope you can finish it! =D

Here's the demo file of how I played around in the first part of the map. I could have gone farther, and lowered the stairs, and used the wall mounted white gel shooter to coat the walls, but it was not worth it. Just the floor gets me what I need. I missed my timing on the jump, and failed to put the cube on the receiver, but the concept is there. Once I failed, I returned to jumping over the gap.

When I try to jump to the right hand catapult, I always land in the acid beyond it. Is the set-up for that fling like this: http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/559836491343321165/93E0ACC18BF5854B5B17705938B097D143D2C7AD/
or like in my demo?

[edit]
OK, I FINALLY figured out the last trick. And have solved the puzzle. Not sure of the use of the middle-right faith-plate.
