The map was so great I'll go and record my solution video. It will be here later today. Most of it felt intended but are you supposed to be able to pick up the cube through the grid in the last puzzle room.
Awesome work. Easy 5/5.
EDIT:
Here is my solution video:

Do you mean the part where you have to move the cube off the button by reaching through the grill (intended) or did a cube glitch through a grill, had a lot of trouble with func_clipvphysics
For this one I recorded my 2nd run-through.
The part that took me a while was the timed flipper surface - just didn't see the trick to it at first. And - off in the side room, that delayed fizzler concept for the cube is a great idea. I haven't seen that one before. Gave me a "WTF?" moment.
This map was a blast and gives a lot of playtime. My fav's are the deconstruction themes.
Wasted time looking for a companion cube in the beginning when I saw the incinerator and the regular weighted storage cube did nothing. Kind of a flashback to Portal 1 only this things eats 3 cubes and one of them was hidden under the steps - LOL.
Then later I got stuck on the fizzling cube thing until I realized that you can actually shoot into that 6-inch gap to place a portal underneath the fizzler - and have to quickly shoot another as it shoots upward out the other platform. Wicked.
, still better than starting from scratch
Anyway Shakky, fricken EPIC speed run of my map, love your final solution, its purely accidental you can do that, I didnt even realise, Josepezdj said I needed more texture variation so it was purely random that I put white tiles there, awesome nonetheless
PCdoc you also did things the hard way too xD, very clever throwing the box out, you could have just respawned and there is a much easier solution to the end you can shoot the light bridge the highest point from behind the grill without having to jump around the place
Thanks for the videos, fun to watch, interesting seeing the varied solutions, glad you enjoyed
lifeson99 you know when you press the button the fizzler turns off, you could have just placed the portal then, though I made the placement helper large enough it shouldnt be too hard if you want to try fitting under the gap

Once again, awesome, there is actually a player clip around that central pillar for people who dont want to jump around and want to just edge around the corner
The cube landing on the catapult was just epic xD Excellent portal placement.
Also you timed the music so perfectly

I got a run where the cube actually landed on the button but I messed up the end part in that one.

My misinterpretation: I did not grab a cube through a grill, did remove it from the plate through the grill, of course..
I found the same route as Shakky last night, but here's one that doesn't require bhop.
You can also place a floor portal in the raised area with the first flip-panel's button, and drop the cube in there to get it into the second half, but I think that's actually longer... so nevermind

Wow LoneWolf, that's really awesome!
It's one of those maps you can play over and over and still enjoy - more so than valve's own. Great puzzle, great visuals, nice sense of space, everything works and it's a bunch of fun, thanks!
Btw, did you put that crazy sound effect in, or am I going slightly mad?
Thanks and are you referring to the click_stick sound xD they are all so creepy o.O Seriously anyone who hasent listened to them type "click" Sound Type Raw, they are the creepiest set of noises ever, I found them at 4am and scared the hell out of myself
I vowed to add one of them to every map from part 4 onward :p
I did have a grill over the wall you and shakky both use to skip the panel flip button but decided to remove it before release cause I thought it was pointless, ah well its not something most people would do on their first time im sure so i'll keep it the same, there really is such a good variety of solutions to this map its very surprising and quite nice ![]()
Mad cube skills too
Physics!!! aint nobody got time for dat!

Another nice puzzle with varied puzzles and useful BTS area. I was a little confused at the beginning because once I dumped the first cube into the incinerator, the fan came on and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to do with the other two cubes. But maybe that was intentional. The lighted signboard is portable, which made several of the steps easier to do, especially since you can sniper the board while standing on the fizzler button in the side room, but, other than that, I thought it was a great addition to your series.
Oops missed your comment, just realised now that all my lightboards are broken >_< only this one is important to fix though, its cause its the clean pti instance with a brush that has a dirt overlay on top which you are placing a portal on, fixed it and reuploaded, glad you liked it anyway.
It's my personal favourite map of the series, and the one I almost lost, it has survived a decompile
