I fixed the problem with the .vpk file. It doesn't contain the .vmf file (but that's not what the problem was).

Of course, because the addons functionality is broken since the DLC1 update, this only works in my custom mod. What I would like to do is release a very basic custom mod that other people can use to play custom .vpks simply by dropping them in the addons folder of the mod. Such a release should contain a fully functional example, like my own maps in a .vpk, but I haven't released any (because I still really suck at Hammer.)

I would like your permission to include your map in that basic mod as the working example .vpk. PM me if you like.

I would like to play this map but I'm not quite sure how to install it. Your readme said:

No its not. Just put it in the first portal 2 file.

Here's my speedrun of this map. I LOVE this map. The theming is great, the voices are well done and to top it off it was challenging!

Awww, wish I had checked the forum well enough earlier so i would have played this map in the holiday season. It was fun!

Great map. I loved the aesthetics and custom content. My only problem is that in my first playthrough, the first stairs never opened. I though it was just too hard of a map and gave up. I came back to it about a month later and they worked, so it's all fine
10 for style; 7 for puzzle.
