Guide the laser to its final destination... Seems easy enough... doesn't it?

This chamber is hard, so here's a tip along the way... Don't try to flip the cubes by hand... you are making it harder than it has to be if you do.

I thought this map was quite complex. It took me a good hour to solve. But I was mystified by funnels that seemed to have no purpose, more cubes available than were necessary to solve a puzzle (on the top floor), and the little routines you made us use to retrieve most of the cubes. That last just seemed gratuitous. But there was some originality in the puzzles and it was complex enough to keep you involved. A good map.

Thank you!

Interesting. I'm always prepared to improve the design so if you found a way so solve the puzzle without using all the cubes I encourage you to show it or tell me how you did it.Prefered would be you recording a video.

Yeah I thought that about the last little puzzle too, but when making people test it it seemed to make people seem it was impossible before they realized how to do it. I guess the main reason is that I don't just want to give you all the cubes. You'll have to work for them if only just a little.

There isn't much to show. I'm just referring to the fact that in the top level you provide three cubes, but it only takes one cube to redirect the laser appropriately once you get it funneled into place. Unless there is a way to use the other two for something, I didn't see it.

It is because of that you refer to this fact that I would like to know more about it. The solution I intended of course includes using all of the cubes. I of course have tried to break my own design to make sure that the puzzle can not be solved if you don't use ALL the cubes in a certain way.

So if you found a way to solve the puzzle without using all the cubes I have no way of knowing how you did it unless you show it to me or at least tell me. That is why I do indeed feel that there is something to show. I have no other way of finding out how to fix that problem.

I'm asking for your help.

Oh, I see. I thought for sure that I had done it as intended. I'll try to get something up for you tomorrow.

Awesome, thank you! I am working on things I wannah change already. For example the "puzzle" to get the cubes at the top floor. You are right about that one.

My solution using only one cube from the top level. The video starts at the top level, but I show the rest of the setup as well.
EDIT: Video removed. Unintended solution blocked.

HAHA!! I was watching this going oh... OH you clever little bastard

Thank you this was very helpful. I was thinking that if you are smart enough to think of this I should reward you with being able to solve it but I don't wannah give the player the feeling that the design is flawed with things you don't need... so I'll work on a solution.

I think I know exactly how to do it...

I think the way to fix it is to get rid of the two extra cubes on the top level. I would imagine that my solution is probably more difficult to figure out than the intended one.

Hmm.... I guess you are right you could just get rid of the two cubes... This is how I decided to solve it though. You will see how the funnels were intended also... the first one only as an aid.

Spoilers for those who want to solve it.

Yeah, that does seem to solve the problem. And now I see I didn't need to snipe a shot between two panels of glass from the second level to the first to get that panel to open.

You might want to make that relay-to-fizzler (on the top level) a little more noticeable, though, since it is not obvious that something is up there.

After having played the updated version, I think I like your solution better than mine. And I couldn't find a way to break it this time. A very nice map.
