A couple questions
Question 1:
I have a light_environment and an env_sun set up to point at a target through a window. Works fine, for about 30 seconds. Then it goes black until you shoot a pair of portals. What's causing my problem?
(Also, this isn't as big of an issue as my other question, so if you can't fix it, try to answer my other one)
Question 2:
I'm trying to make goo, but it doesn't work. Here's what I did: I made a brush, and tied it to a trigger_hurt entity. I textured it with tools/toolstrigger, except for the top face, which was nature/hazard_liquid. It only works when the top face is a trigger. Also, I tried a prefab but it didn't work.
EDIT:
I would also like to know how to get custom music and textures to appear in the texture browser.

You need to make two separate brushes. One will be the goo itself - with the top face textured as goo, other faces as nodraw.
The second brush will cover the goo brush and will be tied to trigger_hurt and textured with the trigger texture.

I fixed the env_sun thingy (my window wasn't big enough, apparently. XD)
Now I just need to know how to get custom textures and sounds into the Browser so I can later pakrat them in my map >:\
Okay, the sun thing is just a bug with Hammer accessing Portal, and I decided to scrap that map anyway...
Okay, well, now my problem is...
I made a slanted brush (Looks like this in ASCII: /| ) but I can't place portals on it even though I'm certain it's big enough.
Any idea why that is?
EDIT: Nevermind, you have to use the clip tool instead of vertex. How dumb can people get? Not much dumber than I am, lol.
