Everything not released is always better then things that are released because you hype yourself to the point that when you actually play it, it will always be disappointing to you.
Yeah, I'm not sure about BM:S now. I personally try to stay out of the whole loop and talk about it so I can enjoy the game how it is, but many people are going to play it and come back saying it sucked.
I learned my lesson with Blue Portals, never promote anything unless the release is very close.
