ok I have searched the forums, so I hope I'm not the only one with this problem! when ever I download a portal 2 map that is just the .bsp file it wont play. I know ware to put the file in my steam folder. the only way I can play most is if the .vmf and instance files are included, and then only if I compile it threw hammer first. I don't know what to do, I'm at a loss. it keeps telling me its not valid what do I do I'm dieing to play some of these! Any help would be appreciated!

here is what it says

map load failed: sp_angrybombs not found or invalid

Half of what you say is hard to read due to your spelling.

Have a read of this, and it should help.

You need to close Portal 2, then put the map in the 'maps' folder, and then restart Portal 2. Otherwise Portal 2 will not recognise the file because it doesn't know it's there.

EDIT: Also...don't double post. Just click 'edit' on the top right of your post.

You don't need to restart Portal 2 after adding maps to the folder.

Also, not sure if you are doing this, but you only have to type "map sp_angrybombs", no "maps/" or ".bsp" required.

some sort of strange glitch happened, I uninstalled portal 2 the re downloaded it from stem now it works great! But thanks for trying you guys rock!
