Button timer sound disable

Is there a way to disable the timer sound which a button is making. I have 2 buttons making which when you press on both in between a few seconds they will open a door. But when it is done, the timer sound goes on, until it has played for the whole sequence (about 6 seconds)

It has the Play time sound option, did you set it to no?

Lol'd hard. Obviously he didnt look at the properties, he just went straight for TWP. :thumbup:

Of course i do! I know the properties of the button! Please... The timer sound is playing because i set it to... i want it to stop when triggered! How?

Make a func_button (texture nodraw) instead and make a prop_dynamic button model to go in when the func_button is pressed and out when not.

Thank you :smile:Anyways i found another solution.
The button has an output called CancelPress (i think). This stopped the timer sound, when triggered

just a heads up, cancelpress doesnt fire the Onbuttonrest events.

nope i know :wink: i only needed the OnPresssed output :smile:
