I don't know if this is connected, but there is also an issue with sending/resending activation e-mails when creating new accounts.

This is probably unrelated, the former is a software error coming from the piece of shit wordpress/forum integration plugin I thought would be a good idea to install, the latter is because the forum still thinks it's on its own webserver. I tried to contact msleeper about it a while ago but got no reply, I'll try again soon. Also, when I have a couple hours and a bit of courage, I'll toss wordpress, reinstall the forum software (don't worry, posts and settings will stay - just to get rid of the mods that are mucking htings up) and see about getting a better news page (probably custom built, basically just an alternate view of the News and Announcements forum)
