Hi Onailag. Well, your pictures are amazing. I guess that you are making a mappack or a single mode campaign, right? well, the screenshots are great!

Keep on with your work and release something soon!

For the contest, I'm afraid you are using many custom material and it won't be possible to use this map for it because it's against the rules.

But keep on working on this! It's really awesome!

In that video your map looks very nice.

Overall this is very different to what Valve has made as you do not even have a portal gun for the whole of the level. It has a completely different feel, like your in a forbidden place or an extremely old test chamber.

The only thing that may be a bit confusing is the amount of buttons, with no indication of what they do.
Also when you pushed the button to spawn the cube, the other cube just disappeared. Was this mean't to happen?

P.S. I tried to make my sentences make as much sense as possible for you to translate.

I do not put all on the portal gun.
For large numbers of button, normally I'll put the text that'll also be cryptic.
The texts will be in French.
Yes I see that when one presses the button the cube disappear.
I board the relatives try to brush that evaporates the cube to have an effect.
I board and I was trying not get what I want.

I saw a couple of words every now and again appear on the screen. However I had no idea what they mean't. I guess making an English version is a good idea? You'll probably need someone to translate it for you. The translator you are using at the moment is pretty horrible.

Finally somebody working with a theme besides the test chamber-theme...

Awesome work... but i think it's still very unclear on what to do sometimes...

And every plant moving is very unrealistic...

But definitly a 8/10 for the originality and the awesome looks! :biggrin:

French mods tend to have high production values, but often get derailed by overdone story. At least in my experience from HL1 on. Please say there won't be a 5 mins dramatic monologue as intro! :thumbup:

Voici ce que j'ais a dire et je souhaite avoir un contact chez valve.

En ce moment m?me ,je cr?e une aventure solo.
Je vais parler uniquement de ce que j'ais cr?e et la ou j'en suis.
Sa fait un mois que je cr?e cette aventure solo pour portal 2
J'utilise hammer depuis qu'il existe sur internet.
Je suis quelqu'un qui as eu beaucoup de difficulter a utiliser hammer.
Sinon ,maintenant je conner bien hammer ,mais je ne sais pas coder ,modeler.
Pour le moment ,mon aventure solo dure une heure ,pour une seul map ,contient 18 ?nigmes ,pour 2 parties de 5 salles chaqu'une.
J'ais vari? chaqu'une des salles et aussi vari?e les enigmes ,avec des choses nouvelles
pour faire diff?rent.
Ma map ce compile en 17 secondes au total et il y a pas mal de detail a regarder.
Pas mal de gens m'on dit c'est jolie et voir jusqu'as sublime.
Et aussi on ma dit des commentaires comme quoi sa serais incooh?rent.
Donc j'?coute ce qu'on me dit pour cr?e un jeu au top.
Bien entendu comme je suis seul je ne peut pas arriver a la cheville de toute l'equipe de d?velopement du jeu portal 2.
Pour le moment ,il y a personne a part moi qui a tester ce que je fait.
J'ais mis 1 mois a faire la map ,et sa fait 2 semaines que j'ajoutte modifie et cherche des id?es et cr?e l'histoire et faire d'autre ev?nnements pour que les joueurs ne soie pas lasser.

Je souhaite dans le futur avoir une discution avec quelqu'un de chez valve ,pour discuter voir ,modifier si besoin sur ce que je r?alise en ce moment m?me.
Pour le moment ma map dure une heure ,pour moi ,et je pensse que pour les gens qui ne connaissent pas ce que j'ais cr?e ,pourrais faire durer entre ce minimum ,et plus ou moin 3 heures.
Bien entendu je fait d?j? mon solo pour une dur?e de 7 heures , un chiffre que j'aime bien ,je le voie partous.
