I've just downloaded and install the Portal 2 Authoring Tools, for try to make my own tests. But when I launch Hammer editor, it asks me for a configuration and when I get it to him, it stops directly.

What should I do ?

Try to verify the integrity of both Portal 2 and the Authoring Tools by Right Clicking and selecting it from the right click menu. If the issue still persists, someone else will probably know what to do.

Hammer asking for configuration used to be a very common thing with SourceSDK for first time launching. See http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki ... figuration on how to manually set up Hammer.

Of course for portal 2 you will be looking for the files in the steamapps/common/portal 2 folder and the steamapps/common/portal 2/bin folder.

EDIT : I've found a solution. Just get him the directory where "GameInfo.txt" is, press the third button, and press the second button. Pfiou.
