My first map for Portal2, lots of try and error style mapping.

This map is less puzzly but involves strafing and the right timing.
Difficulty: medium
There is also a hidden Companion-Cube! Hint: Look out for the red light and try to get there.
If you manage to escort the Companion-Cube to the End and place it on the Button you will be rewarded!

To install:

Go to Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\maps and put the .bsp in there

Start up Portal 2, start a multiplayer match, invite your friend, while connecting to the Hub or in the Hub,
go into the console and write "changelevel mp_coop_jumpingjack" and have fun!

File Name: JumpingJack.zip
File Size: 7.54 MiB

I can't start this map in coop-mode. If i load the map (changelevel mp_coop_jumpingjack) the game shows me the loading-screen (i hear the Map-Sounds) and my partner will be kicked from the "server". But it works in "singleplayer" (ss_map mp_coop_jumpingjack) for me and my partner allone.

Is this a Map-Bug or a Portal-Bug? I have this error on many other maps, too.

Tested this map with 2 friends all the way through its mapping progress and worked fine.

What does your and your friends console say when you encounter the problem would be interesting.

Glad to hear that it works now :>

For the Cube,
I hinted you should look out for red light, look at the holes in the sidewalls where the 2 sidepanel pop out to stop you after you take the faithplate. You could also open up the passage by trying to shoot between the sidepanels using the faithplates Something is behind that ceiling

We solved it without the cube... door was open when we got there.
Some solutions we found felt kinda wrong, but they worked nicely.

Map looks nice and I liked the double bridge/gel jump to get to the other side.

The Cube is just there as a bonus, you're not supposed to need it to complete the map. The Cubebutton at the End will grant you the special gift for finding and completing the map with the Cube.

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:
