I want to input a custom skybox.
I looked through FPSBanana at CSS because Counter-Strike Source has the most skyboxes for HL2 games.
I found a skybox: http://www.fpsbanana.com/textures/996
Extracted it to: My name/portal/portal
And when I edit the map to change the skybox to: flowsky04, nothing appears ingame. Just lotsa white (Because HDR is on)

any help?

Turn off hdr and see if it shows up first, and make sure the directory is portal/portal/materials/skybox

It's still not working. The map still turns white for some reason.
I'll play around for a bit. And yes, the materials are in the right place.

edit:
Change the name in the map properties to flowsky04_

(this is because the author named the files sky_escape_01_up, sky_escape_01_dn, etc. They should be called sky_escape_01up, sky_escape_01dn, etc..)
