this looks really fun. the most fun thing i looked forward to, however, was the release of it so people could learn how it was made, as a gameplay mechanic. anybody know how this was created?

i'm thinking game_ui was involved, but what about the movement?

There are lots of other games with this exact mechanic, I don't know why it has to be a Portal 2 mod. But you could do this with a game_ui and a few thrusters.

because a portal 2 mod is free, and i can make my own maps with the mechanic, and it's in aperture science etc. loads of good reasons. the real question, is why doesn't it have to be a portal 2 mod?

i'll try the thruster thing. not sure how i could put it in my mod, but it'll be fun to try.

I know the guy who was making it; I'll talk with him and see what happened to it. I might even be able to get my hands on the .vmfs and finish it up, but don't get your hopes up.

EDIT: I won't say much, but I will say that it's not dead. Undead, maybe.

push

I remember I have seen something of this mod about 2 years ago - and was really excited about it.
But then I have never heard of it again and just could not find it anymore.

Could someone please tell me how far progress has come with it?
I am not really sure about it being 'dead' or not.

I would really love to play this - and yes, I love the idea of combining it with Portal 2 mechanics.
