Dialogue?

I took a break from Portal 2 ever since the Peer Review DLC, but I've got back into it and I've noticed that all the custom levels I've played since that I downloaded about a month ago are dialogue-less.

Whilst I was away, did something break in the SDK? Did everyone suddenly instantly get bored with even the sparsest of dialogue? Am I just unlucky? Or have I broken some part of Portal 2? Did the format for downloading levels change and I'm now doing things wrong?

The main game still has dialogue as expected, it's just the custom maps that I downloaded that are almost silent (Sound effects and music still work as usual).

I think most people don't take the effort to put custom dialogue in. It's quite a hassle and most people prefer to make maps rather then adding some final details like dialogue into maps. I think the maps you've downloaded just don't have dialogue

Custom content is a pain for me, but I try to add used/unused dialog in some of my maps. Custom dialog is hard to pull off, hopefully Valve would come up with a way to make it easier to add custom content to maps.

No, I'm just saying I'd be happy to see the whole blimp line again at least once in a while to remind that I'm being tested and not wandering through an empty room...

Well done. Here are the test results: You are a horrible person. I'm serious, that's what it says: A horrible person. We weren't even testing for that. Don't let that "horrible person" thing discourage you. It's just a data point. If it makes you feel any better, science has now validated your birth mother's decision to abandon you on a doorstep.
