not one single site i have seen has downloadable particles. Everyone seems to be making their own and not sharing. I dont wanna have to make my own if there is a better one out there. I just want to make an explosion the size of test-chamber

Since I pretty much know that this is for into the multiverse probably, I'll just tell you that the users playing the map won't be able to see it in your map, even if you pack it in. And most users never read the description on maps anyway.

yeah; the particles are a pain; they need a custom particle manifest, which needs to be pre-cached. Thus it must be in a vpk which is not supported anymore :'(

Tl;dr you can't really do it anymore; the only thing you can do is replace textures; which is what we did in aperture valentine. But then you're still limited to the default particles.

or you can go for a full on mod; which can't be placed on the workshop
