Excursion Funnel (tractor beam) phenominon

okay so I finally finished building and testing a moving test chamber for a scene and gameplay. Everything was working fine until the tractor beam was suddenly blocked by.... literally NOTHING. I dont even know where to start with this one.

test this thing yourself and tell me if it happens to you too. Note that gravity guns are involved

Had a try and found the same issue. Perhaps something you could try: Instead of making the room actually move, use worldportals to connect the static interior (placed outside the main map) with a solid exterior that moves. Maybe not having everything move might make the funnel behave a bit more.

yeah I tried that before and the world portals refused to open at all because they fail when in front of a func_door

EDIT: apparently move_linear does NOT affect the word portal, and it is best to strategically place the portals, not parent it. so yeah, fixed
