Sounds like you played 12 angry tests...

You should probably learn the basics of hammer before doing something sorta complex like that. I highly doubt someone is going to take the time to explain how to do this 'in much detail'. Even if they did, I have no idea how they'd do it 'slowly'...
I'm much better than I was before, when I couldn't even figure out how to work the block tool. most of the tutorials I've found have mostly been
about crap that they assume you know, which I don't, but I've managed to figure out this much. I've found some good tutorials now, so I'm making big jumps. I was also sort of kidding about the in much detail part. I can look up stuff I don't understand
[Edit] yes, I played 12 Angry test xD but I'm trying to make something quite different.

In summary, you'd use a point_template to spawn the bombs, and a trigger catapult for the faith plate. Not sure how to get it to follow a player, maybe a func_tank? I'm not sure how CaretCaret did it.
oh, so hitting the faith plate wouldn't make the bomb explode? I was looking on another post about how to make bombs, and there is actually a point_futbol_shooter entity that has an output that drops a bomb. I wasn't certain if the bomb would explode on contact with the faith plate so maybe I'd have to mess with the bomb's settings to do so. thank you

Well, it might. But if it hits the trigger_catapult (which usually sits above the faith plate) first, then it won't explode. Gel blobs do the same thing (which is an interesting puzzle concept to use).
oooooh... now I have a map idea xD

????????
To make it shoot at the player, just use !player as the target of the catapult.
EDIT: Oops, didn't see srs's post. Sorry.

Thanks for that little piece of advice
I'll try that

Ahhh, clever. That makes sense.
