First Portal 2 Map
Obviously not perfect, but it was really just me seeing if I could pull it off.
Here is a short youtube video.

I haven't really posted here in the past, but I've read almost all the posts. Maybe I will start posting more now
Hmm, we need ideas for a Portal 2 contest...

Probably have a while. Add another year onto the Portal 2 release date for when we will get the SDK stuff.
also I lost my title in the forum move.

What did it used to be? "Can't Fight The Man If You Are The Man"?

I didn't even comment on the room yet. It looks like shit, tbh. Did you spend like 3 minutes making it?
Don't say things like that. Say things that mean the same thing, but are actual critisisms.
In this room, there is not enough detail, it does actually look like it could have been made in 3 minutes, but observe the official screenshot: there are gaps underneath the stairs, it is brighter and you could use the blue portal textures pack to make it the same colour. Apart from that, good job at being able to use hammer.
I'm gonna try to make up a new style. Not Portal, but not Portal 2 either.

This 'Blue Portal Textures Pack'... What is it? Are they those 'warmer' textures I've seen in the 'angular fling' custom map? And where can I find them?I'm gonna try to make up a new style. Not Portal, but not Portal 2 either.
The map with angular fling was called "Logic Portals."
And textures' files are obviously included with a map they are on, either on BSP or separately.

I figured out that I indeed already have the textures. And I forgot the name, lo siento, people sometimes forget things...
