Help with hinges

I am trying to make a part where a physics objects is connected to a hinge, but no matter what I try, I can't get the hinge to work, help please?

You could try a phys_ballsocket. If you've ever used garrysmod you should be familiar with the concept.

Have you pulled out the origin of the phys_hinge to make, well, the hinge? The entity -> origin line should make up the plane that the objects will hinge around. For example, if you were making a normal door, the hinge should go from top to bottom (or bottom to top, no difference really) of the corner of the brush where it should hinge at.
Post a screenshot of hammer looking at the hinge, all views please.

Yeah, that worked on my first try, thanks, I don't need to post any pic or anything, I think it works exactly like a hinge would, thanks for the help!
