So ill get to the subject without any dalays. (Well, i guess the previous sentence WAS a delay) t have much time.I have a bounch of ideas and scemes for portal and as usual i dont have much time. So I was wondering if it worths to learn how to map. My other choices are 1) Post my ideas here and anyone can take of them. 2) For a cooperation with a mapper. 3) Abandon portal mapping.
So what do you think?

There have already been several threads of people asking others to create maps for them; all have been refused. It is worth taking the time to learn how to use Hammer and work on your own ideas that way. As they say, "If you want a job done right, you have to do it yourself." :)

I'm not sure I understand. Why don't you have much time?

Actually we made a map for a member called ram64. Feel free to post any map/puzzle ideas here for us to steal.

Post the idea in hopes that someone will steal it and actually make something interesting out of it. Odds are if you aren't looking to get into some serious mapping, your idea will probably never see the light of day. If you're anything like me, mapping is just something fun I do for the sake of doing. I'm not very good and by the time I'm over my Portal 2 mapping phase, I won't have released any maps. The more successful maps I've seen released on this site were created by people who have been mapping for months/years and have a passion to do so.
