Lab Ratt: A live-action interpretation of the Comic
They skipped some of the scenes....but wow. It's great. Give it a watch, it's worth it.

Its too angry, I think. Doug is too sure of himself. They exaggerated the jokes out of everything to where it wasn't funny any more. A different interpretation of mine, I guess. But not necessarily bad.
That and I felt that they could've played with the disorder angle a bit more without it being offensive. Doug is supposed to be losing grip on things, not be a clear thinker.

Actually it's pretty accurate.
Schizophrenic people don't feel like they're loosing the grip on stuff all that much - they believe they are perfectly reasonable and it all makes sense to them. He was just hallucinating the talking WCC...
And also - he WAS chased by an evil robot so...

Yeah, its pretty accurate that way; however, as an audience, we don't want to see the confident, sensible version that's in his head - we want to see the disordered crazy man that were were promised in the comic. People seem to identify really well with characters with no self-esteem and a lack of grip on reality. Maybe its because we think we deserve it - that somewhere deep down we all want to be 'unique.' Or maybe we all have small problems with reality.
I know that I certainly do.
