I don't see why you don't like the first full body shot though, I actually really like that one. 
Personal preference I guess. I love the environment shots though, I can't wait to see a lot more snow I LOVE snow. That could just be because in Texas we don't get any but who knows.
I hope we get to hear something from them about the game during the next big gaming convention. I don't know when the next one is though. :/

Also the first heli crash pic looks very very stupid, it's being held up by it's nose alone lol?
Another problem with this is most of VALVe's concept art is actually in-game screenshots with some paint over it, and since none of this looks at least partially ingame I find it hard to believe VALVe actually made it.
