Wow. I just saw a video on youtube from Valve showing some 7th graders taking a trip to Valve headquarters and learning how to build levels in Portal. I am so jealous of them, especially since I want to work in video games when I grow up and work specifically at Valve. How I wish my school could use Portal 1 and 2 to teach physics. I already got Portal 1, though, but still, really cool of Valve to do this. This is definitely something worth talking about in my Portal 2 podcast.

This is awesome. Portal 2 is one of my all-time favourite games, yet I never played the original so this is perfect for me! Just downloading it just now.

I find it funny how that door opens to glass lights.

Well well, Portal is free... again.

I'm guessing that the DLC is coming out on the 20th because of this.

Also, I really aspire to work as a Level Designer or 3d Modeler at Valve in the future. It would be so awesome if my High School did this.

I wonder if any of those kids will have already have used the hammer toolkit.

Because portal is too good for free, the downside to this is no mods can't be installed

so why did they take it down early? it wasn't there at 2pm (CST) yesterday when i went to get it.

It lasts "until" the 20th. It's not available on the 20th.

Its only $10... and Portal 2 is only $30. Theyre so cheap idk why everyone is stressing over it not being free anymore.

Also, be thankful that most PC versions of a game are cheaper that the console versions.

Be thankful that internet purchases exist. It's a tonn more expensive if you buy a physical copy.

Valve has 4 days left to release the DLC. I bet they're just fixing a few errors and glitches. starts getting twitchy

Valve can release it whenever they want to. Just saying.

I know, but at least a heads-ups would be nice. I wonder if Valve will add anything special like they did with Portal 1, besides the bonus maps. Like more secret codes and stuff like that.
