My first Portal 2 Coop map "coop_build_puzzle_one"

I just finished my first Portal 2 Coop map, this map isn't like Valve's coop maps, it's an attempt at what I wanted coop to be like, It's not perfect, If people like it, I might improve it, I think I will wait for the official SDK for my next map though, it was really annoying getting it to compile!

When you first get into the map, you are in a lobby area, from here you can pick from 1 of 10 different test chambers, you have to complete all 10 test chambers to unlock the final test chamber, and hence beat the map, here's a screenshot of the lobby area:

When you beat a test chamber, glados will kill you, and take you back to the lobby area, you can tell if you have beaten a test chamber, based on weather or not there is a block above the entry to it (bad english sorry, im tired)

I fully tested it with a friend, works great, runs smoothly, which is nice

There are instructions in there on how to play it, if you don't already know, also, don't try and do this in singleplayer, you will fail!

I'm pretty sure this is the latest version:

Enjoy!

edit: Worst uploader I have seen, but I'll use it anyways: coop_build_puzzle_one

Is there any particular reason why it failed? Any error messages or the like?

I spent a fair bit of time looking for it, which is where i failed, i think it was because i wasn't registered, I'm not sure if you can change this, but the thumbnail, you should be able to upload it after, i spent a fair bit of time uploading my map (slow uploads), and then it failed because the thumbnail was 1px to big, fail on my part, but still annoying, using this forum has renewed my hatred for PHP BB, I'm sorry, but everything just seems dodgy, like the quoting, images, nothing seems to work...

Error message just now: "You may embed only 3 quotes within each other."

I'm pretty sure you have to be registered to upload something to the Download Database, that was most likely the issue. As for the quoting thing, while it is possible to modify the number of possibly nested quotes, 3 is the normal value. You'll find it at most forums, and I have a feeling that things would quickly descend into quoting anarchy without it.

And the reason a lot of the BBCode didn't work for you is that I believe msleeper has disabled BBCode for newly registered users. Not sure if the trigger for enabling it is post count or what.

Anyway, if msleeper doesn't see the thumbnail thing I'll bring it up to him, I'm unsure if you can modify uploads post-uploading.

You can modify basically everything about an upload after it's been uploaded, including the thumbnail.

The message "You may embed only 3 quotes within each other" isn't an error, it's saying exactly that: you can't nest more than 3 quotes. The only BBCode that is disabled for new users is links and images, and that only lasts until you make 3 posts.

Let me know if you are unable to alter the thumbnail, so I can lock this. Thanks.

When you upload the file to the DLDB, it makes a thread for discussing the map. If it's uploaded to the database successfully, this thread is superfluous and should be locked.
