Is there any way to easily find the actual line an NPC sound file contains, without listening to it? If not, I was going to try to make a list.

Well, open the pak_dir01.VPK (with GFCScape) inside your folder "common/portal 2/portal2" folder and go to the "sound/npcs" folder... you'll have there every sound file. Look for the sentence you want.
