Hello guys i im a big fan of portal and loved portal 1 and found it more challanging then portal 2 but once i played Portal The Flash Version Map Pack a long time ago i was like WOW!!! OMG!!! i swear who ever made that map tried really hard and made a better harder game then the orgional like the game was ment to be made the game was ment to be bade hard and thats what makes it good portal 2 was suppose to be hard but people complained and bitched sorry for my grammer but its true so they made portal 2 way to easy like portal 1 its suppose to be really hard thats the fun of it.

Any how i hope whoever did it will make a custom game/map pack for Portal 2 please i im a big fan i swear dude whoever made that map pack sould go and start making there own games they really know what a good game is and like i said you out did the devolpers 100% if not 150% that made portal you rock whoever you are and i would love to see a second one for portal 2

I believe the person who made the Flash version and its ported map pack has a profile here; however it doesn't seem like he's worked on anything Portal related since.

You do realize you're posting on a forum that hosts hundreds of custom Portal 2 maps, right? There are plenty of challenging custom maps around here if you're willing to look around a bit. Portal and Portal 2 are fairly easy for the reason that Valve has given us tools to make our dream maps. They know hardcore players will seek harder maps and know where to find them.

Portal would not be as big as it is today if it were a ridiculously challenging game.

I am pretty sure the flash version was metioned by one of the devs of P2 in an interview I watch before P2 came out. Can't be sure though because I can't find it. But it was interesting to see that the creator had come up with puzzle ideas that valve was interested in.

I think levels from the Flash version map pack were used in the Xbox Live Arcade expansion "Portal: Still Alive". So the developers probably were aware of it.
