So, I want to add some props from Portal into Portal 2 for a map I'm working on. I have extracted the files using GCFScape,but the problem is, I have no idea where the files are supposed to go.

Would anyone tell me where I should put the files?

In the same folders as in portal 1, so models in models; materials in materials etc.

Ok, it says the model is there in the Hammer Model Browser, but the corner where you can preview the props is blank. I had put the model's materials in the materials/models folder. Should they be somewhere else?

Ok, just figured it out. I don't quite understand what ChickenMobile was saying about the anim_wp/ekg folder. I just put the models in folders named the same as what they were named in Portal, and then put those folders into the materials and models folders.

KInd of like What LPFreaky90 said, "the same folders as Portal 1". Thanks!
