Propper request

I have 3 items which I REALLY want to make into models. but, I can't get Propper to work for me.

can someone please convert these for me? I tried to do it through propper, but got stuck.

I also have the original VMFs/textures attached, if it isn't enough.

After this, I will have a finished map! my first one in AGES :U

Also, we need general a general mapping/modelling section ASAP :U

Sure, I'll try them. Do you have a list of what properties the models should have?

EDIT: There seem to be QC and SMD files in here...what do you need done? Just compilation? For what game? Portal 1? HL2DM?

the values for those are all in the .QC files it compiled! but unfortunately, it didn't compile for steam somehow

I find propper doesn't work for me on anything but Source SDK in the default half-life 2 configuration (with the requisite edits to make propper work at all). Plus that way it's easier to keep track of your custom models.

I do that! this is a HL2DM map, and I can't make it work for it without picking up the custom textures.
It is also the best HL2DM map ever, as Felix will verify by my textures/models.

If I may cheekily ask, can you also do these two? they don't have QC files though :S

I can...but why not just use studiomdl? It comes with the Source SDK and you can just drag-and-drop your files onto it.

yep! all of these are for HL2DM maps, but being tested in HL2. I'm gonna release them via ModDB. I'll be sure to add you in the credits!

any progress? I'm just waiting for the models, then the map will be released shortly after!

in the meantime, I uploaded some new images. can anyone see the new feature of the map? it took a while to get the effect right

Sorry, as I've never mapped for HL2DM I'm having a bit of difficulty getting the authoring tools for it to work properly. They will be done soon.

there's a different setting?

I'm making my map in HL2. it works all the same. I'm going to move it to HL2DM.
you can use the HL2 settings

I don't have HL2, I just got Deathmatch with Portal: The First Slice. Tbh I've never even played it.

well, it'd work in any source game.

Edit:I believe it won't work for hl2dm actually. I had this issue too. I couldn't solve it, and everyone said it wouldn't work for hl2dm
