Test designed to assess participants' physical prowess, dexterity and accuracy using Blapperture Science's patented Propulsion Emulsion.

Created in the PTI editor and optimised/touched up in Hammer.

EDIT: Couple of exploits removed - thanks to zivi7.

Great map, and another example how the PTI can be used for truly nice puzzles!

I really liked how you have to manage the different sports to finish this Gymnasium.

The final puzzle took me forever, but luckily it had the good side effect of finding those exploits which are prevented now.

Whoa! Are we playing the same map here? Since when is painting a sport? After the fast-shooting fling (which I hated because I play with a controller), all I did was paint for half an hour, then run to the exit. Please record a playthrough, so I can see what you see in this map. Maybe I'm just a complete idiot tonight, but I absolutely hated this. Show me why I'm wrong!

KennKong - I'm really sorry you didn't like the map; I perhaps should have made it clearer in the description that it wouldn't be controller friendly (I did say dexterity and accuracy would be tested, though).

As for the second part, I'd like to know how you actually did it, especially in a way that took you half an hour.... If you look in the Workshop comments there's an alternative solution from another player that I chose to leave in as it was kind of cool, but here's the intended solution as a .dem file (albeit a little shoddily executed, sorry, I'm a little drunk):

Thanks for the demo. I did it the same way, only I was less successful at filling the funnel with gel, so I had to repeat that many times. This style of gameplay is just not suited to my lack of skill. I should stick to puzzles.

I liked the cube/fizzler mechanic, but otherwise, this just wasn't my cup of tea. Even setting aside the fact that it is too fast for me, it was also too big and too plain to enjoy being in.

Oh well, you can't please everyone, and not pleasing me isn't an indication of a poor map, but I still give this just 3/5.

No problem, all feedback is welcome and I understand that this kind of map is not gonna be for everyone - actually, I was prompted to make this as all of the really good maps I've been playing recently are much more on the cerebral side of things and I wanted to see if I could make a good skill-based chamber. Totally agree with you on the aesthetics and I'd like to take some time in the future to give it a thorough makeover, but I'm still really slow at working with Hammer and simply don't have the time at the moment.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to play and rate, and thanks for giving a 3/5 even though you hated it!
