Well, I want to know what your reaction was. I'll say my reaction first.
At the end of the boss fight, when you have to shoot at the moon, I was like "YES I CAN SEE MY ARMS!!!". I am actually being serious. I actually SHOUTED that out
Your reactions? (Use spoilers when necessary)

My biggest reaction came later, at the turret opera. I was saying, "Stop the elevator!"

I forgot to write that. The day I was done with the game was the same day I searched for a mapping editor and downloaded the Hammer editor.

I was fairly mum until the WCC popped out, at which point I about shat my pants in laughter.

My reaction in the end was when you went up to the elevator, then behind security doors turrets started pointing me, I thought, oh you son of a bitch, gonna kill me really. Then they started singing, I was like, dafuq? And when you ended to the wheat field I facepalmed

My reaction was more one of, "Holy crap, I shot the moon!?" What made it even more funny was the fact that at the end, I was just clicking randomly, trying to find a portal surface. Then, I accidentally shot the moon and it wasn't until 10 seconds later that I figured out what was going on. It was brilliant (even hinted at earlier) and I loved the turret opera. I can only wonder how long it took Valve to come up with that ending.
Also, I'm in space.

As I was going up the elevator at the end, and when the blast door opened, revealing turrets, I just yelled out at the top of my lungs, "GLADOS, HOW COULD YOU. I THOUGHT WE BECAME FRIENDS ;_;" But then when they started singing, here was my reaction:

I don't really remember what I thought when I shot the moon, but I definitely remember thinking "I should have known GLaDOS would do this..." when the doors opened to the turrets. Pretty much the whole ending I was just kind of sitting in awe.

I thought jonnathan's song was a bit forced. I would have been extremely happy wwith the opera song. Ends with a song, a good one a different one.

And I really liked the ending, really added closure to the story.

At first, when you went up the elevator and stopped in front of the turrets, I was like "Nooo! You lied, GLaDOS!" But when they started singing, I was literaly out of words. On the wheatfield I started screaming "YES! YES! FREEDOM!!" and when GLaDOS started singing right after that, I fahking started to cry. I was really touched by the whole ending, and... You know, I think something like that MIGHT happen in the future.

The ending was brilliant. Not only the single player campaign with the final outdoors wheat field, the wcc accompanying you until the end, and the awesome (and frightening) part with the singing turrets... But also the coop ending. Indeed it amazed me even more than the single player ending: I think it was an awesome counterpoint to the single campaign ending; Chell is free after the long relationship with Glados, but after seeing the coop ending, you inmediately think (or at least I did) "you son of a bitch! Chell was only the tip of the iceberg! now we could be anyone else by Portal3! any other of those humans (or humanoids?) she keeps immersed into those relaxation vaults... Did this last scene remind of Matrix to anyone else?"

Obviously the key question is what will Valve do with Chell character for the next Portal? how will Valve continue telling Chell's story? Will they even continue with Chell's story? ...I'm so excited about knowing that....

When I shot the moon I was like woah how is this possible I only thought I could shoot on white panels and the gel. Then I realized that it was moon gel and that is how it worked. In the opera I though woooow ratman but I soon realized again that it was just one of wheatleys turrets. best game ever.
