Hello everybody,

I have this problem: About a year ago, I created a (very nice) map with the Portal 2 level editor. Yet, it contained to many elements, so I couldn't put in online (and I didn't know Mr. Hammer yet...) - what a shame. So I let the matter rest for about a year. Now, I wanted to make another try and had to reinstall Steam and Portal 2. When I then opened the level editor, the folder that appeared by clicking "open" was empty. I don't know where my map went. Does anybody have an idea where it could be? I would be very grateful for your suggestions! (I'm using the German version, which shouldn't be much different in operation.)

Hmm, you should have backed up the p2c file. Now it's lost.

Unfortunately it's not possible to recover a P2C (puzzlemaker) file from a BSP (the playable format on the Workshop). It's sometimes possible to recover a VMF (Hammer format), but never a P2C. Sorry.
