SDK beta has source code for MODS!
Aswell as other things we were anticipating like the ray traced lighting preview.
simply add -beta srcsdk0122 to the shortcut you use to run steam.
open the properties of the shortcut and make sure it looks like this:
.....steam.exe" -beta srcsdk0122
enjoy
But yeah sweet stuff

What this means is that mods of Portal are on the way to being possible. Actually changing the rules of the game, as it were, instead of just modifying the setting.
Now we can actually see some really kool stuff being implement into portal instead of the simple of stuff we are already gettin. Awsome!

Are you sure about what you're saying? Because I haven't ever seen a third party mod derivated from the original Counter-Strike : Source source code.
