Are you moving your steam folder after install ?

"GetClientUser returned NULL" > Have you set up a steam account correctly ? Do you have more then one attempting to be accessed at once from one machine ?

Is steam permitted access through any/all firewalls on your PC ?

None of that may be of any help, but its a start on things to check...

When did you send that to Valve/Steam support ? Have they replied yet, saying they can be of no help ? I'll expect they are very busy and may take a small amount of time to get back to you...

Also this problem doesn't happen all the time. Very rarely it DOES work.

Quick note: I have tried reinstalling, ### verifying game cache, deleting files etc etc. This happens in ALL games, and has done since I first got Steam.

So did you try verifying the cache until no further files were needed, or has some new update come about that miraculously fixed something using a method you had stated you had already tried.... just curious as to what finally fixed this problem that you have had for 2odd years in ALL the steam games you own since you first got steam..... ...
