[Solved] Model Browser Freezing

For whatever reason every sometimes the model browser works fine and then other times it will only work for me to select and use 1 prop, then upon trying to use the browser again in the same session it will freeze. Restarting hammer once the freezing has occurred will just allow me to use it once then it will freeze; rinse and repeat. The rest of the hammer is fully functional while the browser is frozen. This has been happening for quite some time and I have tried reinstalling hammer with little success.

Close the model browser and the props properties page. Press Ctrl+A. Then try and open the browser again.

After you select a model you have to hit Apply before you can use the browser again. Not ENTER or anything, it has to be Apply. This probably isn't your issue, but just in case.

Ok the ctrl + A method has solved it most of the times it has messed up.

Thats what usually works for me too.

Yes, but that wasnt the problem he was describing. Although they might appear similar they are slightly different.
