This is a remake of the original portal 1 in the old aperture style. Part one consists of waking up and solving a simple test involving a cube and button. This is my first attempt at this theme, so any bugs or feedback is appreciated. Enjoy.

Special thanks to usCobra for the idea.
Special thanks to Krank and usCobra for testing.
Special thanks to usCobra (again) for mapping assistance and some more stuff. He's awesome.
Thanks to Lpfreaky90 for the wakeup example. Would have been tedious without it.

I had the same issue still.

whilst jumping up an down the map didn't feel smooth; when I tried walking outside I realised that with proper bunny hopping you can skip the puzzle. The puzzle is not a puzzle. And the first map in portal actually consists of the first 2-3 parts between elevators.

This map can be solved by someone who has never played portal before. All in all not interesting

I am still yet to update the map. I'm having issues testing it.
May I ask what you mean it wasn't smooth? Is it lagging or just doesn't look good? A single puzzle out of apathy, sorry.

Why are you having issues testing it?

What wasn't smooth was is when just jumping up and down in the room it felt shocky/laggy.

My mouse just broke, so I'm trying to fix that while juggling some stuff irl.

For the laggy/jumpy thing, I'll try to optimize it more. Thanks for the feedback.
