[SP] Bright Side

Changes in v1.1 (Released 1.6.2011)
-Fixed couple unintented solutions and bugs
-Made it easier to make portal to ceiling at 3rd chamber
-Other small tweaks

My "Summer Mapping Initiative" entry!

This map includes 3 separate chambers. Main element is hard light bridges but paint, funnels, faith plates and cubes are also seen in these tests.

I also added GLaDOS to cheer you up!

Hi Mr. Late. I really enjoyed your first map "Late Chamber". I found it hard to figure out in the beginning though very funny to discover the way and execute it! Thanks. Can't wait to test your contest entry (this evening I hope!).

Really nice map, though a bit on the easy side.
Since i love light bridges i really enjoyed this map a lot(and glados just made it even better XP)
though i don't know if i solved the second part the intended way
i used the funnel to get the orange gel across, then i put the lgiht bridge under it.
After that i merely needed to walk forward to get to the other side

Almost intended, I designed it so you jump from the ramp :d

Fun map. I'm not entirely certain if I did one of the parts as intended though In the chamber with the funnel, light bridge and propulsion gel I got the box for the button by putting a light bridge under it and letting it bounce off in the right direction so I could catch it. Was there a different way for this?

You included your BSP in the "sdk_content" directory, not your VMF. Strangely, I am able to extract this BSP just fine.

I now uploaded new version which now have that .vmf file instead of two .bsp:s Tell me if it says it is corrupted.

Yep, I guess the problem was having 2 .bsp:s with same name. I though I took .vmf but I copied .bsp by accident :S (Why there is .bsp file in sdk_content folder anyway...)

Had a problem in the last room.
I honestly thought I had to hit the button to be able to use the light bridge. Because when I was just standing on the floor I couldn't place a portal at the end of the bridge. So, I figured if you hit the button it would remove the black squares on the side so that I could place a portal.
After I did that and it still didn't work I gave up & came back on the forums here to see if anyone else had this problem.
No one did so I watched the dude's video of it & saw I could only place the portal in the air? what is the point of that...

Quick and witty: a series of small fun chambers likely to fly by, thankfully because they're to the point instead of wasting time in preliminaries. Walls could be more tridimensional.

nice map did the chambers in 2,7 and 3 portals respectively
I could get the 2nd one in 5, but what triggers the end door opening? because I can get to it without using the funnel, but I can't think of anything else that is used otherwise that would be a trigger for the door...
