Okey, so i want to make a co-op map. Usually when i do this i just copy the spawnpoints valve has already made. But if i just want the players to fade in to the map. Not fall from any tube or anything. Just fade in, how do i make that work?

The fade-in effect, do you mean the screen starts out black and fades into the map?

I just tried to get this working, put it isnt for some reason. I have the coop spawning entities and everything spawns fine, but the env_fade isnt working for some reason. Or if it does, it fades in after like 2 seconds but it doesnt start black... hrmmm.

Is it possible that part of the env_fade is broken? I mean, that I noticed that env_fade works when fading to black, not the other way around. I think I recall trying to use the Surprise Room Instance and it didn't work either (I thought it used env_fade turn the screen black and then back to normal for the player). The Surprise Room Instance turned the screen black, but didn't turn back to normal.

Just yesterday I used an env_fade to fade from white at the beginning of a map. It worked perfectly. I used the command "fadereverse".
