Basically for games and mods that aren't big and popular enough to get their own thread, or games that once were big and popular that aren't anymore. Or old games.

Talk about them, news for them, and generally anything about them.

Recently came out over at Digipen. It's a pretty cool game with unique gameplay, nice puzzles, and generally cool ideas. No real story but it does convey a slight message of a story. And when you beat it, it gets even cooler.

Just released version 1.0 today. It's a great mod for people who've played and liked jumping maps in various games like Counter-Strike. Even if it isn't the best mod in terms of visuals, I used to play this all the time back during the beta, so needless to say I'm downloading this right now.

Wildfire is a game about causing civil unrest or something. It looks pretty and its kind of like SimCity, except more specific in what you do. Also its very unfinished.

See/play it here. It runs on Unity.

The 7th Guest

Trilobyte are rebooting a very old game. the one that launched the CD-ROM.
while the sequel, The 11th Hour, is not a very good game, the original is amazing and I recommend all users try it out. the third game, "The Stauf Legacy", is in development right now!

It's full of big hams and some genuinely obscure puzzles, but it is a very good play. you simply have to experience it at some point to admire how much the industry has progressed, and how much it has regressed.

Incidentally, they have a side-game on iPad. Only myself and one other have beaten it on it's top difficulty. it's a strategy board game, similar to reversi.

A Digipen game that recreates aspects of the original Rush series; A game that my friend ejaculates to.
Would download this for myself if I had a usb controller. Tried playing it with a mouse and keyboard and it
was not made for that. The game even tells you it is better with a controller.

This is very good mod, I heard they might update soon.

Nitronic rush is a great game. Some of the students who made it are working on a sequel. Kickstarted and greenlit already, but here's the kickstarter link (just because I can't find if they have an official site): http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/185 ... cade-racer

Unfortunately, http://refractstudios.com/ is a bit naff, so I don't know what's happening to that site.

Electronic Super Joy is gud and doesn't afraid of anything. Its the euphoria and total annihilating difficulty of Super Hexagon with the platforming of Super Meat Boy with everything else cool about everything thrown in. It is narrated by the Kool-Aid Man, and is mostly about butts.

Here, or on Steam.
