Well that should happen. Also what if chell goes back to the past,wouldn't that cause a time paradox?

Actually, this would be a "timeline corruption," paradox kinda gets thrown around a bit too much.

This definitely ahs potential, I like the idea of GLaDOS adapting the present based on your actions in the past.
Question: Will portals be able to connect points in time as well as space, or will they be fizzled before you use the machine?

There is an inaccessible area in the present that involves prop_portals being activated in the past; however, portal_gun portals will be fizzled when entering the machine.
